1. Capital City Canada Day
Tuesday, July 1st. From 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Victoria Park.
Celebrate Canada Day in Victoria Park with a full day of free, family-friendly fun. Enjoy live entertainment on the Coastal Vibes Stage featuring Joel Plaskett Emergency and Two Hours Traffic, plus activities, food vendors, and fireworks at dusk. 2. Under The Spire Concert Series
Friday, July 4th. Various times. St. Mary’s Church.
Celebrate 30 years of unforgettable live music at this summer concert series, running July 4th through September at the historic and iconic St. Mary’s Church. Enjoy a dynamic lineup of beloved performers and rising stars across multiple genres in a beautiful and inspiring rural setting that showcases the best of PEI arts and culture. 3. Start of Summer Special Farmers’ Market
Sunday, July 6th. From 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Charlottetown Farmers’ Market.
Celebrate summer with a special festival at the Charlottetown Farmers' Market on July 6. Enjoy live music, global cuisine, and a vibrant open-air market, plus bonus activities like bouquet-making, painting, woodcarving, crafts, and prize raffles. Learn more here.
4. Trailside Summer Shows Opening
Wednesday, July 2nd and Sunday, July 9th. Starts at 8:00 PM. Trailside Music Hall.
Trailside’s summer series launches with two weekly shows. C’mon In delivers high-energy East Coast music with a seven-piece band starting July 2. On July 9, Nudie & The Sundowners celebrate Gordon Lightfoot’s Greatest Hits. Both run weekly through September. Tickets start at $30 plus tax. See the full schedule here.
5. Heritage Players Historic Tours
Friday, July 4th. Various times. Downtown Charlottetown.
The Historic Heritage Players return with guided walking tours all summer long, starting July 4th. Explore the rich past of Great George Street or uncover haunted secrets on the popular Ghost Tour. A fun way for locals and visitors alike to connect with Charlottetown’s history. Tickets start at $25 plus tax here.

Blue Rodeo takes the stage for a free Canada Day concert at Spinnakers Landing in Summerside, Tuesday July 1st at 8:30 PM, part of CBC’s nationwide celebration coverage. Get the full schedule here.
The Charlottetown Farmers Market is now open every Wednesday starting July 2nd, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, in addition to its regular Saturday hours. Make sure to shop local all summer long.
